Welcome to Tallboy Furniture my names Mark and after some twenty plus years working within retail management I wanted to work a job that gave me a sense of achievement and accomplishment. I've always had an interest and passion for furniture and wanted to gain more knowledge this teamed with my creative eccentric side led me to create Tallboy Furniture. I love all forms of furniture from vintage to retro to modern, and find nothing better than spending my days restoring pieces of furniture that people have forgotten about and giving them the tender loving care to bring them back to there former glory. I love the story that a cabinet can tell and wonder if they could only talk the stories and adventures some pieces must of been on. My creative side lets me create some unique individual pieces, I love bright colours life can be all to dull and a beautiful cabinet with vibrant colours can bring a smile to anybody. The colours I use all beautifully contrast into each other and can be a real statement piece. The pieces I have listed all have time and care and love put into them and all of my listings are perfect and never leave my workshop unless otherwise. I pride myself on my quality of work and find nothing more satisfying than placing one of my pieces in a new home where its treasured and adored to take pride and place and to be used for it's intended purpose. My furniture has been chosen to appear in the May issue of the World of Interior magazine and has also been featured on the series of 60 Minute Makeover, with the designer Linda Barker hand choosing a stunning vintage chest of drawers to appear in the show and be the centre piece of her design. It's an amazing achievement to now be recognised as an official supplier to 60 Minute Makeover. I'm also able to offer restoration of furniture and also do commission pieces.
